Weaver Classic Extreme Series Rifle Scope - 6-24x50mm Illum. Dual-X Reticle Matte is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from This Scope Does Everything at a Great Price I bought one of these scopes a few years ago on a whim, and had such great results with it that I have bought more every time I see them in stock. In May I bought two more. For load development and varmint hunting they compare with the Bushnell Elite 4200's, Leupold's, Nikon Monarch's, Burris, and others. Picture is clear and sharp with good contrast and color correction. The adjustments are reliable and consistent, and the side focus feature makes for quick range adjustments. While I seldom need the illuminated reticle, it can be useful in shooting small ground squirrels in deep shade. So far there has not been any problems develop, making for confidence when hunting in remote areas where dependability matters.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Had this scope 6 months. It sits over a Rem 700 in 22-250. Very clear edge to edge. Great value for a good name like weaver. Use it mostly for poking little tiny holes in paper. I'm sure it would be a great varminter.

Is it 1st or 2nd focal plane? What is the click value? what is the closest distance it can focus? Thank you.

Asked by: Jack75
These are 2nd focal plane, 1/8 minute clicks, and the lowest setting on the parallax knob is 50 yards.
