For people who do reloading at home and want the best accessories possible, the Berry Manufacturing 400 Vibratory Tumbler Kit 2 is an ideal choice. This particular tumbler has the ability to create maximum cleaning power simply by turning on the switch. With that done, the tumbler does all the work, which results in clean, polished brass.
Included in this kit is the actual tumbler along with 6 pounds of corn cob media, brass polishing media additive, and the high-capacity, fully enclosed rotary sifter that prevents the corn cob from flying outside the tumbler.Berry 400 Vibratory Tumbler Kit 2 is rated out of 5 by 3.Rated 5 out of 5 by BobR from Very quiet and compact but has good capacity. I was surprised at how quiet this machine is and the capacity is good. i like the fact it has a cooling fan built into the bottom to keep it running cool.Date published: 2015-06-23Rated 5 out of 5 by 1961weasel from Best Tumbler I've Ever Owned My 20+ year old RCBS tumbler finally gave up (motor). I also had an older Midway model running. All the reviews I had read on the newer tumblers, regardless of the manufacturer, cited premature motor failures as a common occurrence. After reading so many good reviews of the Berry's, I decided to give one a try. At this price (which is half or less of some "good" ones...which fail anyway), I figured it would be a reasonable gamble. I did not like the finer-ground media supplied with the unit, so I substituted my normal green Lyman media. Right away, I noticed that the Berry's unit had a better agitation then either of my older units. The media and brass actually "roll over" very quickly. As a result, the cases clean up in far less time than I was used to. The more brass I put in, the better the action (actually, this is fairly common on most tumblers I've seen). And, if left in for a while, polish very well. As a nice bonus, this tumbler is FAR quieter than either of my previous units. I got the kit with the rotary media separator, because I wanted one of those for some time. I like the rotary unit a lot better than my old "sifter" pan. To sum up my thoughts on the Berry's 400 tumbler, I plan to order myself a second one as soon as I can!Date published: 2015-06-04
