Nikon M-223 AR Rifle Scope - 3-12x42mm SF Nikoplex Reticle Matte is rated 4.3333 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice scope for the $ Typical Nikon with excellent clarity, well built. The turrets are a bit bulky, I wish they had traditional covers but will have to take Nikon's word they are waterproof. Mounted, zeroed without a hitch. I shot a sub moa 7 shot group with my Daniel Defense and hand loads first session. I did not test the windage compensation past 100 yards yet, will see if it returns to zero. The diopter adjustment is a nice feature, wish it would lock as the lens covers may rotate slightly with storage. Parallax adjustment easy to use. You can spend a lot more $ on an AR scope but you won't find a better value than this one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nikon M223 scope It is great to have a scope that is tailored to the rifle. It matches my hand load exactly. I just checked the load again this morning. 5 shots in less than 1/2". Nikon scopes are all that I use anymore.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid quality Very easy sight in procedure. I have this scope mounted atop a Burris PEPR mound and it has been seamless so far. I have only been able to shoot out to 300 yards and the ballistic turret seems to work very well. It's just up to the shooter now haha. Great system!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Another Mistake I bought this because it was on sale. I didn't realize at the time if you get the model without the BDC reticle that it comes with the elevation knob in yards rather than in MOA. But my biggest complaint with the scope is that I can never get a really clear and sharp image out of it compared to my other scopes. Some cost more, some less, on other rifles. Seems like I turn the parallax adjust knob from one end to the other (yes it's unlocked) and I see very little adjustment out of it and simply can't get a sharp focus out at 100 to 465 yard targets. I let a friend with perfect vision (26 year old eyes) try it out and he told me the same thing. It does hold zero and I have been hitting steel plates out at 465 consistently, but I have to count clicks to be spot on since there no proper tick marks in between 400 and 450 yards. Its dialed in for just one type of ammo. Which is part of the reason I would not have normally bought a scope with range marks on it and not MOA. Cannot recommend this scope due to lack of clarity of the image (very disappointing) and the wrong type of elevation adjust.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best value for the money. I have purchased several of these scopes for my AR builds. The feathers rival scopes costing 2 to 3 times as much. The warranty is one of the best in the industry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid scope Very happy with this purchase. Clear glass, positive clicks and the side focus is very effective.

Is this a side focus model? What does it come with? As in lens covers, etc.

Asked by: Delmarksman
Yes, SF stands for Side Focus. They come with lens covers.
