In this new series of Solid Base bullets, Nosler has replaced the familiar lead point of the Spitzer with a tough polycarbonate tip. The purpose of this new Ballistic Tip is to resist deforming in the magazine and feed ramp of many rifles. The Ballistic Tip design produces controlled expansion for excellent mushrooming and penetration and high ballistic coefficient.
