DEMO Tasco Bantam Shotgun/Muzzleloader Scope - 2.5x20mm 30/30 Matte is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great scope cheap, I have an older Taco Bantam 2.5 x20mm and had great luck with it. I have an Ithaca m37 shotgun with a side mount that is to low to mount other scopes. This one fits so I ordered another. I have many other rifles, shotguns and scopes including Leopold, Nikon, Bushnell and Tasco. The Tasco's are a great scope for the money especially for a spare gun or utility type rifle. I used a Tasco world class 3x9 on a Winchester M70 to take a fine 6', 300 pound Black bear at 250 yards after it slid in the boat and landed on the scope. My higher end scopes from other manufacturers are a bit clearer but the tascos are good enough for the average hunter that wants a good, reliable scope at a reasonable price, especially for a spare or secondary rifle or shotgun

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Scope is just "OK" Scope arrived in new condition with all accessories, still sealed in blister-pack. However, it does NOT have the advertised reticle (30-30, what some companies might call duplex, or thick-and-thin), it has a weird circle-around-the-30-30 reticle. This is WAY too "busy" in my opinion, and it clutters-up the sight picture unnecessarily. Although it has plenty of eye relief, the scope also has a very narrow field of view, so if your eye moves slightly off center high/low/left/right, you immediately start to lose view of your target or the reticle. Scope feels quite solid, bordering on too heavy given it's size and magnification. Natchez should correct the catalog description of the reticle immediately, so people will know what they are buying. As I am putting this scope on a .22 rifle, I can still make good use of it despite the drawbacks listed, but if I was browsing through scopes in a shop and found this one, and had a chance to handle and look through it before buying, I probably would not have bought it (especially given the reticle was not as advertised).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good scope for the price. I have 3 Bantam scopes that I use for shot guns and Muzzle loaders, The work well during the day, but in low light the 20mm objective lens doesn't gather much light and make low light shots challenging. I like the 15 MOA circle for ranging deer. Bottom line, it's a good, rugged little scope.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Might work for you Too short for a regular bolt action rifle ring spacing. If you clamp the front ring over the front lens it could crack the lens. I would like the cross hairs a little thicker.
