Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not so fast.... I understand these are "used condition" but I believe they should be useful and fulfill their intended use. I bought 5 and 2 required a pry bar to open. Both were dented in the upper corner and could never hold a seal. I had previously purchased some in "used condition" and was happy with them. Clean them up a bit and hit them with some paint... Good as new. The damaged units are basically scrap. Not a good sale price when almost half are unusable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from As advertised. I bought five of these for ammunition storage, as stated lovingly used, but no defects. One even came with a M855 with a primer strike.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The real deal U.S. cans U.S. Military used cans, good seals, good paint, marked with caliber markings. Very minor surface rust wiped off with a damp cloth. Probably was outside in the rain once.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality and value! Military ammo boxes can be used in a wide variety of applications. They make great containers for dove loads in the field, excellent for storing ammo, and can even be used as tool and/or tackle boxes. These .50 cal. ammo cans are rugged and durable and will hold up under harsh conditions and abuse. Natchez SS ran a sale so I latched on to 10 boxes. They arrived quickly and in great shape with a few boxes having only slight scuff marks. In addition, Natchez threw in a copy of their Master Catalog for free! Previously, I had purchased ammo boxes at gun shows. However, they all had light to medium rust and some dings and dents. By compareson, the boxes from Natchez were like new. I will probably order more very soon. Get them now at these great prices before they're all gone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Actually surprised I was actually surprised @ the cond. of these cans. Of the four, two were, except for the stencils, almost unused. The other two, except for some minor scuffing and dust were what I would call "grade 1". No rust on any of them. For the $, I couldn't have gotten better cans, plus they arrived in two days. Great value.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent shape for the right price! I bought 11 of these 50 caliber ammo cans to get the most out of my shipping cost. Each can cost me $10.67 including shipping. Out of the eleven one lower was bent by the hinge. Took the lid off, strategically placed some boards on a solid surface and a few wacks with a sledge & three minutes later straight again. OE paint was good on all. Only one that someone had personally painted there ID info on the caliber description side. I was very pleased with this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Like new! I bought 10 of these and they were in like new condition. I could not see any signs that they had ever been used by the military. Seals were perfect, no dents, marks or any signs of wear. The paint was in pristine condition, with no visible marks. All hardware worked perfectly, and they even held pressure when opened (I live at high altitude). The price was exceptionable, 50 to 80% less than any similar cans that I had come across previously. Truly a great deal!

If I buy 4 cans and 1000 rounds of ammo will you put the ammo in the cans to save shipping?

Asked by: Taz Man
The shipping won't be any different whether it is inside the cans or not. Shipping is determined by how much the package weighs. The weight is the same either way.
