Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to set up, does what it says! Bought this a month ago, despite mixed reviews, it does what it is made to do, and well. I was a bit hesitant, with it having no manual brightness control, but for quick, close shots, it simply works. I have this mounted on a Ruger MKII slabside, and it's a great deal better than the old, cheap reflex type it replaced. I use this for steel challenge, and once sight picture is obtained, it works! This was ordered as a demo, and some jerk removed the screwdriver that should have been with the tools, but I guess that those people are everywhere.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from won't maintain zero purchased 6 weeks ago and used it on a Hammerli 208 target pistol for 1000 rounds. Set zero at 50 feet and less than 10 shots it lost zero by over an inch. Problem is adjustments are not click adjustable- it is by friction. Problem 2 is the dot is not consistant. The whole unit isn't worth $ .50 .

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy installation. Bought this a month ago. Installed on a Ruger Single Six in 17 HMR. Using a bench and bipod it holds 1/2 inch groups at 25 yards. Great brightness of dot. Free hand shooting takes a little practice to acquire red dot. Great sight for a great price.

How does it turn off? Or the hood turns it off?

Asked by: Shadrap42
As light gets dimmer the dot gets dimmer. To shut it off completely you can put the hood on it.
