Details & Specs

If you’ve been looking for a digital game scouting or surveillance camera that has all the essential features but without the unwanted frills, expense, or confusing operational menus of some less effective off-brand "game cams", the Tasco Trail Cam will end your search. With one of the most user friendly interfaces in the industry, this trail camera is easy to setup and use.

  • Extra-wide strap ensures a secure mount to the tree, and a padlock loophole keeps out would-be thieves.
  • Camera delivers crisp views of game in your area and stamps each image with date, time and a moon phase icon.
  • Captures still images, or 14 second movie clips.
  • All images, movies and events are recorded onto an SD card for convenient transfer to your home computer.
  • Functions day and night and senses game out to 30 feet.
  • Oversized xenon flash will reach out up to 30 feet for nighttime images. A new photo is taken every 30 seconds for as long as motion/heat events are detected.
  • LCD display makes set up a breeze in the field.
  • Rugged and weatherproof.
Tasco Full Color Trail Camera - 3MP is rated 2.5 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Tasco Trail Camera These cameras are technology from the early 2000 era. I bought three of these cameras (New in the box and built in 2009). The problem is that they will not use SDHC chips. You MUST use a SD chip of 2 gig or less. No where will you be told this before you purchase. The TASCO rep said that it must use a 1 gig chip or less. If you can find one on Ebay or Amazon or any of the big electronics websites, good luck. Of the three I purchased, one was returned (at my expense) because the menu window did not show all of the data being input or the time. I managed to get one to work, but it continues to turn itself off when the temps drop below 40 degrees. Bottom line is that the technology is old and they are not worth the money or time to get them working.
