Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Sight for Brush Hunting I installed one of these on my Glenfield .35 rem Trapper and couldnt be happier. Its small enough that it doesnt overpower the size of the rifle, and it works wonderfully in the thick timber where I hunt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Price on a Great Red Dot This is my 3rd purchase of this Burris Red Dot. I like the small MOA Dot. Brightness settings are great for all lighting. I have one on a Mini 14, and Ruger 10-22. Many friends have shot both guns with varying eyesight. (Glasses, with and without.) They all approve and like the 35mm tube. I looked around and this is the largest tube with a small dot in this price range. I also have expensive Trijicon and Meprolight on my AR's. This Red Dot was purchased with Clarity, Price and 35mm size in mind. Great Price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Burris 135 I am happy with this scope so far. I an see the red dot in bright sun light. It was simple to zero. I mounted it on a VZ2008. It held an acceptable group at100 yards about 140 rounds. At this point, I can't complain.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No sun washout Put on wife's 22/45 that she uses for Speed Steel, hanging plates, and falling plates. She absolutely loves it. We have tried Barska, TruGlo, and others, but this is the one. Easy to pick up even on bright days. No problem with going off in the middle of a shot string like other brands. Plan to put one on a 15-22 and try Speed Steel with it. A fine product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good product for the money i mounted my burris speed dot 135 on a marlin 336c with the xs lever scout rail. super fast target acquisition. 11 brightness settings for different light situations is also very nice. seems like a decent red dot sight for the money but only time will tell

Rated 5 out of 5 by from it works for me.... I purchased one Burris 135 Speed Dot 2 years ago, just to try it...the price was right. I put it on my SOCOM 16 and loved it. Then I got second one and put it on Mossberg 930 12 gauge. Now I got third one and it's going on my AR. Never had any problems, works in any light. Stays on zero. ( I need more guns) Thanks

Rated 5 out of 5 by from VERY NICE LITTLE SCOPE - FANTASTIC PRICE! Bought this a few weeks ago on sale, paid $99. Very satisfied. Mounted in on my Ruger PC9 carbine, works perfect. Didn't want to spend a lot on an expensive scope and this came along at the right time. First time owner of a Burris, like the construction and quality. Very accurate.

I am mounting this on an ar with a fixed front sight post. Which height base do you recommend?

Asked by: Confused
That really depends on whether you want to co witness with the sights. If so then High, but if you want it to clear the sights you'd need Xtra High.

Will this sope fit on a S&M AR-15 LR

Asked by: Bigheep
Yes it will. The only issue is if your gun has a front sight the rings are likely not high enough to clear the front sight.

Is this scope parallax free? In other words will the scope be on-target no matter whether the dot is centered?

Asked by: Skeeter
Yes, it is parallax free.

What is the range on this product as for as distance? I never own a scope like this.

Asked by: Jacob 1
The limiting factor on this is the fact that it has no magnification so you can only use it as far as you can see with the naked eye. The dot size is 3 MOA. So it does not magnify the target any and at 100 yards the dot covers a 3 inch circle on the target. At 200 it covers 6 inches of target. At 300 it covers 9" of target. So depending on what you are shooting at it might be smaller than the dot is at those distances. If you are using it to shoot a 3 gun match, you can reasonably use it to 200-300 yards ...assuming you can see that far.
