Each bullet is designed with the shooter in mind. This company produces locally, making the bullets more economically friendly and saving you money in the long term. The bullets are all weighed to ensure that everything is uniform.

Federal NATO 7.62mm x 51 Rifle Ammunition 7.62mm x 51 149 gr FMJ 1000/Box is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Will Federal Stand Behind Their Ammo? About 10% of the 1,000 rounds I got had cases that were moderately corroded. About 40% of the cases were lightly corroded. I emailed Federal with a report with professional quality photos of the ammo October 9, 2015. They have not yet responded. I ordered a second batch of 1,000 rounds but asked Natchez to inspect them for me before sending them. Natchez did this and the second batch, which was a different lot number, was OK. The poor rating is not because of the bad ammo. The poor rating is because Federal hasn't gotten back to me. I would order this ammo again; but only if someone at Natchez checks it first.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good to Go Ordered on 11/30/15; delivered on 12/2/15. Super service. The rounds are NATO cross marked with a LC 15 headstamp. Actually you get two 500 round cardboard boxes in one larger box, which is pretty heavy and makes the FedEx delivery guys strain. Each of the two smaller cardboard boxes contains one heavy poly bag with the ammo. If you are careful, you can lift the poly bag out of the cardboard box and fit into 50 cal GI ammo can which is not so heavy to carry around and in my opinion is the best way to store ammo with a few desiccant bags thrown in. The ammo performed flawlessly in my M1A and DPMS LR-308. Shoots like GI M80 ball, i.e. 1 to 2" at 100 yards with 66 year old eyes and iron sights. IMHO when this stuff is on sale, pounce on it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Customer service I had ordered 1000 ct. 7.62X51 and 1000 ct. 5.56. While ordering online, I made a mistake of ordering the wrong 5.56. I contacted customer service by telephone and the first guy was not helpful. Being stubborn, I called back. The second guy bent over backwards to get me what I actually wanted. Products arrived very timely and exactly what I wanted. Thanks to the second. Greatly appreciated. Sorry that I cannot remember his name.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Look at the price! You can't buy components that cheap Stamped LC + 15 4 stars because it attracts a magnet I wish they still made 3006

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ordering was a breeze, as soon as they receive the order it was shipped, as far as the ammo itself goes, it's Federal Lake City and that speaks for itself.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Rounds! Consistent feed w/1 failure in a 1000. 1002 rounds actual count. The rounds are well lubed manufacturing type. Wipe off before placing on stripper clips. Rhey are not polised brass, they are crimped primers! These rounds will store well for many years if needed. I have reloaded these cases before and most holdup to 3 times. I recycle or discard most after 4 firings. Remember this is NATO grade and re loads are less charge. I recommend this item.

Are the primer and bullet sealed?  What is the year of production?  Some reviews complain of corrosion on ammo.  If I order, will I get good clean ammo?

Asked by: Fredk
From what I have read it's LC14 NATO cross stamped. This would have sealed primers and a tar sealed bullet. All bulk military ammo will have some tarnish from the loading process as it isn't tumbled post loading. You're really getting a deal because it's boxer primed, which is worth about $100 for once fired brass.
