Primos Truth Cam Blackout Supercharged HD w/EDS - 7MP is rated 3.8333333333333335 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Both are AWESOME! I have been a long time "exclusive" Bushnell buyer and had 7 cameras between 2010-2014; everything from 3MP - 720p HD versions. After many disappointments beginning with the picture/video quality of the HDs, I decided I wanted to try other brands. I currently own 5 Bushnell, 3 Browning, and 3 Primos. I have returned high end Bushnells, High end Brownings and Cuddebacks because of the performance compared to this "inexpensive Primos camera. This is a great bargain in the $80 range. I bought one in March and one just this month (Sept) from Natchez. Although the camera is "only" 720p video is a feature that is not a big deal when it comes to detection, range, clarity, video noise, white balance, and vibrant color daytime photos. The day photos appear to have a slight yellow hue to them, but I can easily overlook that when you see the photos below. Night time photo/videos are also superb for this level of camera. Setup is a breeze, all dip switches for photo, video, (quality as well settings) number of photos/videos, as well as interval. Power button is sort of tricky, powering it on with a rubberized pushbutton is easy, but turning the camera off is confusing because you don't really know if it is off unless you power it on and then off again, then the small but helpful LED screen will display off. I believe they modified this to a slide switch on the ProofCam for that reason [I also purchased the ProofCam ($149) because of the performance of this TruthCam experience; it is also an awesome camera]. LED screen also displays battery strength remaining in % which is a great feature and will drain all batteries down below 0.3v before dying (my setup took 2,965 photos in 36 days and still had battery remaining. For all of it's flaws, I can easily overlook them compared to the performance I am receiving with Browning BTC-7/8FHD and Bushnell HD models.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Cost Effective Camera and Battery Life I have ordered and used these cameras for the last 2 years with minimal issues. I run cameras year round and the only issue I ran into is the power button not functioning properly. This requires you take the batteries out and put them back in to reset the camera. They have corrected this on the newer models by replacing the rubber power button with a manual switch. Lithium batteries in these cameras are a game changer on night time photos and operating the camera in low temperatures. Daytime photos are very clear with minimal blurring. Only other thing I will mention is I wish they had a light sensitivity setting due to many black and white photos during daylight when placed in the timber. Lighting is not an issue when used over food plots or away from closed canopy forest.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent and Versatile I bought this camera 3 weeks ago and have deployed it in 3 different potential hunting areas. The clear pictures and time stamps are unreal and very helpful. The one location was a trail and the night pictures of moving deer are unreal. I know when and where the 8 point is!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don'the buy. Work for 1 month. I guess that's why the warranty card in the box says thirty days from purchase date. Will stop buying primos products.
