REFURBISHED Nikon Archer's Choice Laser Rangefinder is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from great buy Bought this a month or so ago. Fantastic price and works great! My only complaint is that since it is refurbished the apg case had the two rings cut off for the lanyard. Other than that you can not tell it was refurbished.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works as expected except in mist or fog. Looking for a smaller and lighter range finder than my Leica 800 and one that could give the correct distance at an angle . Works as expected. Small, easy to use and carry. No major problems with either direct line of site or angular siting it except that the turning of the eye piece to focus was a bit sticky. Probably just the one I received. Accuracy is +/-2 yards which would not be any problem at 600yds but at archery ranges,10 to 50 yards it is significant. But this is sold as an Archer's rangefinder but is the same as the model sold to rifle hunters. All the other models based on this same action will have the same problem of accuracy. Accuracy should be .5 yards and max range should be around 75 to 100 yards. Another problem not mentioned is that it will not work correctly in fog or ground mist. Consistently read 4.5 to 5.5 yards in actual fog and mist until either lifted at which time it did read correctly to measured stakes in the ground. If there is any mist or fog anywhere between you and the target it will give an inaccurate reading to the target but a correct one to the mist or fog. It is a laser and any obstruction, fog, mist, twig, branch will reflect the beam and give an incorrect reading. Also the laser is below the active viewing port so you have to be careful of what is just below your line of site.
